O15TM does this through a specific alignment that puts the workload entirely on your muscular system, not on your joints. Once you get into the alignment, the goal is to maintain the position, as if you are a statue. By not moving, you reduce the risk of injury. You focus on not simply staying still, but actively holding muscular contraction along with proper breathing. The breathing pattern ties everything together, letting you reach your maximum potential and exhaust your whole body in completely a safe manner.

About Mike Barretta
O15 WorkoutTM creator, Mike Barretta, has been in the industry for over twenty years. He started his career in weightlifting in 1980 by opening M&M gym, located in South Philadelphia. Here he helped train, among others, the Philadelphia Stars football team. In April 1994, he opened Weights for Women in Prospect Park, which 14 years later is still the only full service gym for women in the area.
With all of his weight training experience working with both men and women, he learned what works and what is a waste of time. Over the years, he began to combine different training techniques that he had learned to develop a unique workout. His concept weight training consisting of no movement based on alignment and time oriented breathing – evolved into the O15 WorkoutTM as it is today.
