mikec_thPrior to doing the O15 workout, I did traditional weight training for an hour a day, 4 to 5 days per week. The New Year of 2007 was the start of my 7 th year doing this workout.

I trained directly with Mike Barretta and learned from him as he was still tweaking the workout over the years.

As I kept up my training and continued to practice the workout, I continually improved. There was always something new to learn and always something that could be done better. Over time as my form got better, the workout only got more challenging, never easier. Instead of hitting a plateau, I worked harder and harder and became more cut than before. I enjoy many activities such as softball and biking on top of daily manual labor at work, and this workout has helped keep me strong and able to do these things.

In April 2006, my right arm suffered not only a torn rotator cuff but also a torn bicep tendon. I have had to modify what I do with the workout and in the beginning it was almost like starting over. I had to begin with decreased time in all the exercises, but now after much hard work and determination I am back to making a minute on the pushup after 9 months without ever getting the recommended surgery. Recently I have even been able to add the tricep retraction back to my workout due to the increased mobility of my shoulder and I’ve since been able to play softball again for the first time since my injury. I’m back in the game even hitting home runs!
